Inclusive Schools with Facilities for Children with Disabilities

"Children with disabilities are less likely to go to school. There is very little information about the prevalence of disability among children in Pakistan and
about their participation in education. Some sources suggest that as few as 4% of children with disabilities are enrolled in school (quoted in ITA, 2014). While all children are affected by the poor condition of schools and the poor quality of teaching, children with disabilities are even more disadvantaged. Across the country, schools are ill-prepared to admit children with disabilities and teachers are not trained to work with disabled or differently abled children. "
